Viimeistelykeiju poikkesi kylään! / Finishing Fairy stopped by!

Podin tässä jonkun aikaa pienimuotoista pläähiä käsitöiden suhteen, mihinkään ei huvittanut koskea. Sitten yhtäkkiä ilmeisesti hiukan viirasi jostakin ja tartuin siihen päättelyneulaan ja aloin urakoimaan. Yhdet jo reilun vuoden päättelyä odottaneet sormikkaat sain kuntoon, ja sitten siirryin takkuamaan boleron kanssa. Takkuamaan siis nimenomaisesti ihan tismalleen oikea sana: yhdistin kummatkin hihat vartaloon varmaan kolmeen kertaan ennen kuin sain siistit saumat aikaiseksi. Vielä olis nuo sivu- ja hihasaumat jäljellä, mutta ne on onneksi ne helpommat kun on ihan suorat reunat..

I had somewhat blah with everything related to anything hand-made for a while, nothing was interesting enough even to touch. Then I think I had to have some strange thing going on because I grabbed my trusted needle and started finishing pieces. I weave in end in a pair of gloves that had been waiting for at least a year and then I proceeded to fighting with my bolero. And I literally mean fighting: I grafted both sleeves to the body at least three times before the seams were neatly done. I still have the side seams (both sleeve and body) left, but they're luckily easier because those edges are straight..



Lanka/Yarn: Novita wool (merino version), hiukan toista kerää/ a bit over 50 g as I needed a second skein at the end.
Puikot/Needles: 3½ mm sukkikset luultavasti/ dpn's I think
Muuta: viimisen päälle perusmalli, tuskin teen tällä ohjeella ikinä toista paria kunnei istu ihan viimisen päälle kunnolla ja maailma on sormikkaiden ohjeita pullollaan!
Notes: very very very basic model, I think I will not use this one again as the fit could be a bit better and the world is filled with glove patterns!

Sorruin sitten kyllä lankojenkin ostoon, jälleen kerran. Vapaa Valinta kun alensi Novitan Karusellin hintaa, niin en mä enää pystynyt sitä harmaata väriä vastustamaan kun se on koko syksyn yrittänyt mua viekotella sieltä hyllystä. Meille muutti siis kaheksan kerää, joitka toivottavasti riittää hyvän mittaseen Buttonyyn mikäli saan moisen tästä langasta onnistumaan. Onneks sentään kehitin suunnitelman niille langoille ennen ostamista, niin on helpompi lähteä toteuttamaan jotain!

I once again enhanced my stash. Novita Karuselli was on sale and I couldn't resist the gray shade anymore as it has been tempting me from the shelves the whole autumn. 8 balls moved in with me, I hope that is enough for a nice Buttony if I manage to turn this yarn into that. I'm happy I had a plan for the yarn beforehand though, it is then easier to start developing something out of it!
