Ei paranis soittaa siskolle.. Tuli nimittäin puhetta lapasista jotka lupasin ajat sitten tehdä mutta joilla ei sillon ollut kiirettä. Nyt kuulemma on, kylmä rupee jo raukalla olemaan ;) Ja mitä tekee kiltti isosisko? Heittää muut työt nurkkaan ja alottaa heti ne lapaset kun tuli kerran aikanaan luvattua. No myönnetään, syynä heti alotukseen oli kyllä myös siinä että lapaset on aivotonta tv.neuletta mitä ei voi sanoa muista tämänhetkisistä töistä - kaikki vaatisivat just nyt hieman enemmän huomiota mitä tv antaa myöten.
Note to self: shouldn't call to sister. She for some reason reminded me that I promised ages ago to knit her mittens. Then there was no hurry, but now the weather takes a cold turn and she kind of wishes to have something to warm her fingers with ;) And what does the oh-so-nice big sister? Throws every other WIP on the corner and casts on immediately because a promise is a promise. Oh well, I'll admit: one reason was that the mittens will be a mindless tv-knitting which is something other WIPs aren't at the moment - they all require more attention that tv allows right now.
Niin, niistä tulee siis vihree-valkoraidalliset ihan perustumput. Seiskaveikkaa, lankakin oli jo hankittuna nimittäin. Ja haluaisin tässä kohtaa huomauttaa, että mä en sitten ole noita värejä ite valinnut..
Mittens will be very basic with green and white stripes. Yarn is 7 Veljestä, it was already waiting here for inspiration. And I'd like to point out that I'm not the one who chose the colors..
